  1. All dogs must be at least 8 weeks of age to be transported.

Our main pickup areas are Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Illinois but will also serve the lower 48 states depending on availability. If your pet is in any of the states but is coming back to our pickup area then we can likely work with you.

Updates throughout the trip will be done on all trips.  We can communicate through text or phone as often as you wish and we will send you photos of your pets throughout our trip.  

No more than 4 pets per mini van even on pet pool

We practice no paws on the ground for any pet who has just had thy’re shots to eliminate any chance of picking up something off the ground.

For the safety of everyone, we will not transport a vicious animal. All pets must be socialized and friendly. All pets must be lead trained.

If we are picking up a pet from a breeder for you, we will be sending you photos of your new pet before we leave to ensure you are getting the animal you paid for. 

We supply everything that will be needed for your  pet transport: all crates, bedding, bowls, litter boxes and litter, collars, leashes and bottled water. All you need to furnish is your pet’s food and a Health Certificate, This Health Certificate should state that your pet is healthy enough to travel and list their current vaccinations and also Rabies. Titer tests are accepted. It must be signed by a licensed veterinarian. It is valid for 10 days, sometimes 30. Each state is different. So check with your local veterinarian. 

 Should your pet require medical attention during transport, we are authorized to provide such care as is deemed necessary. Should emergency care be necessary, we will make every effort to contact you prior to taking any emergency action. However, if you cannot be reached we will use our discretion to take such steps necessary to ensure the well being of your pet(s). All charges incurred for veterinary care will be your responsibility.

No sedation or calming medicine is used at Waggn Tails.

Nutri cal will be given at every feeding for small pups in transit.

All drivers are pet first aid certified.

All of our crates are disinfected with Sniper cleaner after each use. Sniper is a powerful cleaner that kills all known viruses and bacteria, including Parvo, Coronavirus, Canine Adenovirus, Reovirus, Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza.

Payments: 50 % Payment is to be made at the time of booking to hold your spot and get you booked. The remaining 50% is due prior or at pickup of pet(s). You will be sent a invoice with options to pay. You can also pay the full amount up front if you choose.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up date. Cancellations made after payment has been processed will receive a refund of the cost of the transport less a 25% cancellation fee. If you cancel after the 72 hours deadline, you will be charged the full transport fee and no refund will be given.

Tips for a Successful Pet Transport

Departure Point of Contact

Have a health certificate and any other paper in a labeled envelop/folder, have a bag of food for the trip, have a slip lead leash for adult pets, have any care packages labeled in a zip lock baggies, and don’t feed the pet for 4 to 6 hours prior to transport.

Arrival Point of Contact

The following will be required at the arrival point:

Have a crate ready for your new animal, have a leash ready for adult animals, have some cash or fee ready for the driver, completion of picture, hand off of any leftover food, be aware of what was sent with animal to double check with the driver at arrival.
